The Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge offers the perfect place to experience some great fishing as well as having close encounters with a variety of wildlife. Shallow calm protected waters with excellent year round fishing. The Indian River Lagoon System offers flats fishing for redfish (red drum), spotted seatrout, and black drum and more. Seasonal catches may include tarpon, jack crevalle, ladyfish, and snook. Easy catching trips can produce 12 or more species per day. Because of the shallow protected waters, we can fish even when the weather is not perfect. There is no chance of getting seasick.
