Fun Fishing Trips with Kids Near Orlando & Disney World

If you are visiting central Florida or Orlando and are looking for a fun fishing family trip with kids, this is the trip for you. Saltwater fishing with kids offers them the opportunity to catch large numbers and a wide variety of fish. These trips are designed to keep kids busy catching so they do not get bored. Kids as young as 4 have enjoyed the easy catching. No prior fishing experience is necessary and everyone catches fish. There is always something willing to bite. The fish we catch come in a variety of sizes and types. Redfish, drum, sheephead, flounder, ladyfish, seatrout, silver trout, pompano, permit, mangrove snapper, bluefish, sharks, and snook are just some of the fish we catch in the saltwater estuaries of the Mosquito Lagoon just one hour east of Orlando and Disney World. Despite the scary sounding name, the mosquitoes do not bother us on the water. Using light tackle and live bait, these trips do not require any previous fishing skill or experience. All fishing equipment and licenses are provided. Kid sized rods are provided so they can enjoy the fishing experience with appropriate sized tackle. In addition to the fishing, both kids and parents will enjoy the variety of wildlife the Lagoon has to offer. Dolphins, manatee, stingrays, and a large number of marine and wading birds live in these waters. Often the dolphins and manatee come just a few feet from the boat.
